THEY LOVED MY BOOK

"What a lot of laughs I had while browsing the pages of this English so rich in human encounters, adventures, adventures during 8000 kilometers of hitchhiking. L'Escargot Anglais had a real impact on me, my way of life , and above all to consume. This man has an extraordinary personality, a style of hooligan with a huge heart. This book deserves, by far, the "bestseller" 2022!”

MAXI MARION

This book is at the same time several subjects including pollution, waste, overconsumption, suddenly difficult to make a positive and funny book and yet the two authors succeeded in the challenge hands down!!! The colorful and funny stories that punctuate the book suggest a better future despite the magnitude of the task to be accomplished.....Well done! let's keep fighting!!

MALORYE-CARUSO

"Humanist punk, in a hammock on the side of a national road, the waste tongs in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other, the English snail offers us an alternative to despair, a way of life in the margin, revolted, committed and never resigned

For 3 months Eddie sketches with tenderness and without judgment a gallery of heterogeneous characters, fruits of his hazardous encounters: we will come across a generous heroin dealer, music-loving refugees, a minister, a coca-cola employee but also many citizens like you and me.

But it also paints a portrait of a contradictory France that is both beautiful and generous but which runs on plastic, unable to stem the incessant flow of waste that overflows from our garbage cans, litters the sides of our roads, invades our beaches and our rivers.

Behind the travelogue also surfaces an anger, even a revolt, against a breathless, sluggish and unconscious society, prisoner of an obsolete model, rushing towards its destination like a driverless garbage truck.
